
Biography
About Samantha T-Ahinakwah
Born in 2001 in Accra, Ghana. Now currently based in Bulford Camp. I grew up in a small town in a military camp on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England. I attended Kiwi School from 2008-2012. Age 7, coming fresh from Africa I didn’t understand any English and was unable to communicate with people, I found art and it allow me to express myself. It also allow me to speak through my drawing. From an early age I taught myself how to paint, shade from YouTube videos.

I have a key interest in colours, which is my main focus in most of my pieces. I am currently studying Fine art at Solent University, Southampton. Where I am able to expand my skills in portrait drawings and playing more with colours.

Art Statement
As an artist my drawings are things I see everyday or get inspired about. More of my drawings are aim to explore colours or to bring awareness to people. I like using colours because its able to tell stories and convey emotions.
